Potential failure of equipment can be detected from particles found in oil samples. The analysis of the oil is conducted by three tests. The first test is the oil's ability to lubricate and properly protect, the second test is for six wear metals and the third test is for three contaminants. This service is included with all hull and engine marine surveys.
